Election Day Freebies

The Museum at FIT is home to permanent and temporary exhibitions that portray the role of fashion in society.  The current exhibition, “Fashion & Politics” explores the influence of clothing on social change and patriotism. The designers involved in the exhibit include Catherine Malandrino & Vivienne Tam. The exhibit showcases an ''Ike'' dress from the 1956 Eisenhower campaign, a ''Nixon'' paper dress, and memorabilia from the 2008 presidential election.
